Baby Love

Playdate

We attended a playdate at Laura and Baby Dylan's house in Midtown.  The Mommies got to socialize while the babies played.  We really enjoyed it!  Baby Isabella, John, Jack and Clark were there too!

Aunt Melissa's Graduation Party

Sunday, December 16, 2012

My parents, Maria and Miguel hosted a beautiful graduation party for Aunt Melissa at the Royal Oaks Country Club.  It was absolutely gorgeous and everyone had a wonderful time.  Btw--Mommy (Crystal) won the award for 'best speech' and Kyle won for most 'emotional speech'--his touching words about Melissa didn't leave a dry eye in the place.

Christmas Cookie Party

Tuesday, December 11, 2012

Abby and I hosted our first event for our In-the-loop-Mama play group.  This playgroup is for first time Moms with babies born in 2012.  We joined in October and we thought it would be fun to host a Christmas cookie party at our home to get to know the other babies and Mommies.  It was a big hit! Abby and I had a great time.

Eating: Nursing about 5 times a day (7, 11, 2, 5, 8) and started solids! Abigail had rice cereal for the first time on Thanksgiving day.  She loved it!  On Christmas day we gave her Applesauce (homemade with our baby cook) she loved it as well!  What a great little eater =)

Bedtime: 8:00 pm (Just recently Abigail has been wanting to go down around 8:00 pm and sleeps until 7:00 am!) Awake: Most of the day now!

Naps: Usually about 3.  Morning nap is always 2 hours after Abby wakes up in the morning.  There is usually an afternoon nap around 12:30 or 1 pm, lasts anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours.  Then there is a late afternoon/early evening nap around 4 or 5. Abby needs this last nap so she can make it until bedtime.

Diapers: wearing size 3.....Our favorite brand is Pamper Sensitive and Pamper SwaddlersClothes: 12 Months in most brands--hard to believe, 18 months in Crazy 8 which runs small.

Favorites: eating, cuddling with Mommy and Daddy, watching Charlie, playing with little rattle toys and baby einstein musical toy, reading books, bathtime, going for walks in the stroller.

Latest Tricks: Picking up toys with hands, strong grasp, sitting up stronger, rolling over (once Saturday, December 8th)

Meeting Santa Claus

Saturday, December 8th 2012

We had a busy little weekend--Abby's first trip to meet Santa. We went to Bering's in West U and did a little Christmas shopping. She didn't cry at all, in fact she loved all the attention, looks like a Christmas card.

Abigail's Baptism

Saturday, December 1, 2012

Latest Tricks: Smiling at Mommy and Daddy, learning her name. Able to lift her head without bobbling during tummy time.  She is talking and gurgling a lot, "coos" and says "go."  She started laughing at familiar faces like Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa.  Blows bubble and drools alot--lives in bibs. When she is on her activity may she grabs at the toy rattle.
