3 Month Stats

Weight: 16 lbs, 6 oz 

Eating: nursing exclusively, Abby nurses about 6-8 times a day.  Cluster feeds at night so that she is nice and full for the night. Going through a growth spurt.  

Bedtime: 9:00-10:00 pm  (trying to get Abby to go to bed a little earlier)

Awake: Most of the day now but with a lot of cat naps.

Naps: about 3 to 4 naps.  Morning, early afternoon, late afternoon, and early evening nap--trying to get rid of this one. 

Diapers: wearing size 2....Pamper Swaddlers

Clothes: 6 months in most things, some 9 months (PJs)

Favorites: eating, being carried by Mommy and Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa too, going out little outings, visiting Cousins Gregory and Stephen Jr, watching football with Daddy on Sundays. Loves to look at the lights on the Disney train and baby Einstein toys. LOVES bath time with Daddy. Really enjoys outings--such as baby yoga and the zoo, really anything outdoors.

Latest Tricks: Smiling at Mommy and Daddy, learning her name. Able to lift her head without bobbling during tummy time.  She is talking and gurgling a lot, "coos" and says "go."  She started laughing at familiar faces like Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa.  Blows bubble and drools alot--lives in bibs. When she is on her activity may she grabs at the toy rattle.   

Touchdown

It's fall and in Texas that means one thing: FOOTBALL! We have been watching the Texans and Bears play just about every week. It's designated Daddy and Abby time. She loves to get dressed up and root for her favorite teams.

Fall Fun

Here we were on our way to go pick up Mommy's cousins Stephen and Gregory up from school. It was a fun day, Gigi took us all out to lunch to Mommy's favorite restaurant el Tiempo.

2 Months

Highlights this month -Awake more during the day -More established little schedule -Lifting her head to a 90 degree angle on tummy time -Making "coo" and "ga ga" sounds -Smiles at Mommy and Daddy (pretty much the best thing ever)

Tummy Time

We have started to do tummy time a few minutes a day--we play as long as Abby wants. I'm SO proud of her--she is a super strong girl lifting her head to a 90 degree angle. Excited to see her progress in the next few months.

Visit with the Godfather

Our longtime friend Christian came to visit us from Switzerland. We asked him to be Abby's Godfather and he said Yes! We are so excited to have him be a part of Abby's life. He will be making a return visit in December for the christening. He is also a photographer and took a few pictures while he was here.
